PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set the optimum inspecting standard. SOLUTION: Automatic inspection result data obtained based on an arbitrary inspecting standard preset by means of an automatic packaging parts inspection device 20 are stored in an automatic inspection result data storing section 1, and correct data obtained from visual inspections are stored in a correct data storing section 2. An arithmetic and analyzing section 6 finds a new inspecting standard value by performing statistic analysis on a specific characteristic amount by extracting the characteristic amount from the automatic inspection result data, and a discriminating section 5 performs discriminating simulation on the same inspection item as that of the inspection device 20 based on the new inspecting standard value. Then, the section 6 compares the packaging quality obtained from the correct data with the packaging quality obtained as a result of the simulation and, when the inspected quality reaches a target value, updates the inspecting standard of the inspection 20 to the new inspecting standard. |
