PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cooling efficiency from being lowered and to prevent the exhausting efficiency of a cooling duct from being lowered in an image forming device constituted so that the fixing heat of a fixing unit is cut off by passing air through the cooling duct. SOLUTION: The cooling duct 34 extended in the back-and-forth direction of a machine main body is formed around the fixing unit. Then, the duct 34 is formed to be hollow inside and provide an air intake 37 at the front side thereof by an aluminum-made sheet material 35 and a planar resin material 36 integrally provided with a projection part 34C to be used for covering the material 35. Besides, the material 35 is arranged so as to face the fixing unit side. An exhaust port 38 is formed on the inside of the projection part 34C to guide air backward from the inside of the duct 34. Then, an axial flow fan 39 is inclined and fixed to the port 38 so that the axial direction thereof is adjusted to the flowing direction A of the air passing through there. |
