PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt coating material for road sign having improved abrasion resistance, resistant to the falling off of glass beads compounded to the coating material as a reflection material and capable of keeping good visibility at night for a long period. SOLUTION: This coating material is produced by compounding a hot-melt coating material for road sign containing a binder resin, a pigment, a filler and a reflection material with 0.1-10 wt.% (based on the total coating material) of an ethylene-unsaturated ester copolymer partly or totally modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride. When the coating material components are packaged with a bag made of the above modified copolymer, the coating material can be used similar to the material preparatorily compounded with the modified copolymer at the above ratio by melting the packaging bag together with its content in use. |
