PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect in an image caused by the deviation of a developer in each developing unit, to apply a developer of small grain size and to obtain an image of high quality by integrally connecting a flow regulating member to the top end part of a partition member. SOLUTION: In the developing housing 4 of each developing unit 2, a developer circulating path constituted in parallel, by which the developer is circulated to the rear side of a developer carrier 5 is formed. A pair of carrying/stirring members 8 for stirring/carrying the developer are disposed in the developer circulating path and a surplus developer by a developer regulating member 6 is returned to the developer circulating path on the inner side by the flow regulating member 9. Further, the partition member 7 for forming the developer circulating path and the flow regulating member 9 are integrally attached to each other. Therefore, a partition for halving the housing 4, to obtain plural developer housing parts can be formed in the developer circulating path in the developing housing 4. At the time of rotating a developing device, the movement of the developer between the plural developer housing parts in each developing unit 2 is eliminated to prevent the deviation of the distribution of the developer in the developing housing 4. |
