PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool with a light source itself and to reduce cooling devices in a display device by using an electronic cooling element electrically connected to a current path of a light emitting element as a load for cooling a substrate and compensating the load between the light emitting elements. SOLUTION: DC current driven light emitting diodes 21... and a thermo module 24 being the electronic cooling element for suppressing heat generation are loaded on a rear side surface of an insulative substrate. A heat sink 25 having heat radiation fins 25f is loaded on the rear side surface of the thermo- module 24. Then, when the light emitting diodes 21... are driven in the light source 20, a current flows through the thermo-module 24 also. When the light emitting diodes 21... are driven, the heat is generated, and though the heat transmits from the light emitting diodes 21... to the insulative substrate, and the insulative substrane becomes hot, this heat is absorbed by the thermo-module 24. Then, since the heat sink 25 is provided on the side opposite to one substrate of the thermo-module 24 the heat is radiated from the heat radiation fins 25f of this heat sink 25. |
