PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent freezing of an inlet of an intake pipe by correcting a specified water temperature according to an intake temperature sensed by an intake temperature sensor, and thereby speedily increasing temperature of cooling water for an internal combustion engine even in the case that the intake temperature is excessively low. SOLUTION: A specified value is added to specified water temperature in the case where an engine water temperature sensed by an engine water temperature sensor 4 is the specified value or less, and an intake temperature sensed by an intake temperature sensor 6 is a specified value or less when ON- operation of a lock-up clutch Cd is prohibited. Even when the engine water temperature exceeds the specified value, therefore, the ON-operation of the lock-up clutch Cd can be prohibited until the temperature is further increased by the added value. Suppression of engine water temperature rise is prevented during this time. The engine water temperature is thus speedily increased, so that freezing of an intake pipe inlet can be prevented. |
