STYRENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which can give moldings having satisfactory antistatic properties and excellent surface appearance without detriment to a balance among mechanical properties by mixing a styrene resin (A) with a diblock copolymer (B) composed of a block comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer or the like and a block containing a quaternary ammonium salt and a metal organosulfonate. SOLUTION: Component A used is a rubber-containing polystyrene resin, a rubber-containing acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer resin or the like. Component B is composed of a block prepared by (co)polymerizing 30-100 mol.% aromatic vinyl monomer with 70-0 mol.% vinyl unsaturated monomer copolymerizable therewith and a block containing 10-100 mol.% quaternary ammonium salt structural unit represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H or methyl; R2 is an alkylene; R3 to R5 are each H, an alkyl or benzyl; and X is -COO-, -CONH- or the like). Component C used is sodium octylsulfonate, sodium 8-20C alkylsulfonate or the like.
