The invention relates to a method for a non-destructive test of the resistance to failure of an electronic component especially an electronic or control component of a nuclear power plant. In order to test said component with regard to resistance to failure, at least one characteristic quantity is detected and observed in relation to adherence to a limiting value (G) during the operation of a nuclear power plant, whereby the characteristic quantity is correlated with a parameter which is determined according to near-failure condition.
