The baking oven has a pair of height-adjustable guide rails (6) mounted on its internal side walls (5). Each guide rail is pivot mounted at its end remote from the oven door (3) and is height adjustable at the opposite end by means of an eccentric cam (9), on the eccentric peripheral contour of which the guide rail rests.
