Electronic control unit and individual components of the unit

A control unit with electrical switches (T), an electrical connecting bush (A), conductive paths (L), contact points (K) and plug connection (S) is molded in a first thermoplastic plastic and specific surface areas of this are chemically metallized to conduct electricity. Other, non-conducting areas are coated in a second thermoplastic. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a plug connection (S) with two connectors, one having a carrier and contact comprising metallized thermoplastic plastic; (2) an electrical switch (T) with two contacts closing against each other, both of metallized thermoplastic; (3) an electrical connecting bush (A) with a carrier and contact of metallized thermoplastic; and (4) a method for metallizing a thermoplastic surface.
