The guide consists of a rail defining a trajectory for a mobile assembly with rollers (36a-36d) mounted on it in an elastically deformable unit (31) which exerts a predetermined and constant contact pressure. The unit comprises at least two rigid sections (37-39) connected by elastic hinges (40,41) made in the form of walls of reduced thickness. It also has regulators (44,45) to control the roller's contact pressure against the guide rail (42). The system can also incorporate stabilisers in the form of additional rollers (61,62) on the rigid sections to prevent the mobile assembly from rotating relative to the rail, and a solid lubricant stick to apply a film of grease to the rail.
