Super thin plastic key for mobile telecommunications equipment and machine operation

Here is a new super-thin plastic key with top (4) and base (5) sections. The top section includes a substrate (1), light-transmitting ink (2) and light-proof ink (3). The substrate is a plastic film, which carries a layer of light-transmitting ink. Onto this is printed a layer of the lightproof ink, this being in the form of a character. The top is formed to specified shape by hot-pressing. Top and base are extruded as a monoblock, to form a thin plastic key.
