The pump turbine (3) wheel has a pressed seating for the turbine wheel hub (4) on the turbine shaft (2) with contact between the two in at least three areas (a,b,c) via split shell (6). One end of the shell defines the first area (a) of contact in the area of smallest diameter of the turbine and the other defines a press fit for the pin(b), with the third section (c) between them so that the section of the hub varies with that of the shaft.
