Switch cabinet with frame size matched to standard dimensions of industrial electronic components

A switch cabinet including a cabinet framework (1) with moulded vertical and horizontal elements (3,4), a hinged-frame (4) movable about a vertical axis in the cabinet framework, and having vertical and horizontal frame elements (5,6). A group of hinges is provided for forming the vertical hinged axle and comprises an upper- and lower- and a fixed- and a moveable- hinge-part (7,8). A locking element (25) is provided opposite the hinged axle for securing the frame (4) in its hinged, operating position in the framework (1). The fixed hinged parts (7,8) are mounted on a cross-member (10,11) between the vertical framework elements (2) above or below the hinged-frame (4). Each cross-member has two fixture legs (12) for mounting on an inner limb (19) of opposite-facing vertical framework elements (2), and each has at least two horizontal support limbs (14) with each of the latter designed as a closure plate for one of the locking elements (25) and as a hinge carrier for one of the fixed hinge-parts (8).
