<p>The present invention relates to the separation of fine-dispersion suspensions and may be used for ore extraction and for the regeneration of drilling solutions as well as in the chemical and food industries or in other industrial fields. The suspension separation is carried out at a constant pressure by generating in the separation region low-frequency vibrations in phase and on both sides in a direction perpendicular to the peripheral layers of the suspension flow. The suspension separation is carried out on two filtration surfaces so as to obtain a filtrate and sand. The device for separating the suspension comprises a body which is separated into a supply chamber, a gravity settling chamber and two filtrate chambers. The filtrate chambers are made identical and include pairs that consist of filtration surfaces oriented towards each other and of pistons parallel to said surfaces for generating the low-frequency vibrations. The gravity settling chamber comprises an overflow device with a height-adjustable pipe as well as a settling-plate assembly.</p> |
