An antislipping agent for freezed road surfaces, comprising flat pulverized pieces of flat pulverizable rocks, such as black clayslate, which are obtained by pulverizing such rocks to a required grain size; a method of spreading the antislipping agent for freezed road surfaces, comprising heating the antislipping agent and spreading the resultant antislipping agent over a freezed road surface; and an apparatus for spreading the antislipping agent for freezed road surfaces, comprising a hopper, a heating means and a spreading means.
