PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the protonation velocity of a coloring matter by incorporating a polymer whose Tg is lower than a specified value and which does not indicate acidity at all or indicates only slightly and using an acceptor element containing the hydrate of a transition metal salt or metaloid salt of a strong acid. SOLUTION: A coloring matter donor element repeats coloring matter layer patches in which a coloring matter is dispersed in a polymer binder in turn and has them on a support, and the coloring matter patches contain a deprotonated cationic coloring matter to be a cationic coloring matter having an N-H group which makes part of a conjugated system when reprotonated. A coloring matter receiving element has a coloring matter image receiving polymer layer containing a vinyl polymer whose Tg is lower than 9 deg.C and does not indicate acidity at all or indicates only slightly and the hydrate of a transition metal salt or metalloid salt of a strong acid on a support. When an aggregate for thermosensible coloring matter transfer is constituted by laying the coloring matter receiving element to overlap the coloring matter donor element, the protonation velocity of the coloring matter can be increased.
