PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminated cartridge filter low in water permeation resistance and having sufficient pressure withstanding strength by using a suction supporting tube forming a projecting and recessed groove continuously in the vertical direction to the cylindrical direction in the production of the cartridge filter for filtration in which a laminated body is formed on the surface of the porous suction supporting tube. SOLUTION: In the production of a filtering cartridge filter 1 used for the filtration of a solid material in a liquid, a slurry solution is prepared by dispersing 2 kinds of acrylic fibers having, for example, a 10μm average fiber diameter and a 20μm average fiber diameter in the ratio of 1:1 by weight in an emulsion type phenol resin solution having a 31% resin solid portion. Then, a stainless made bottomed mesh, which has a projecting and recessed groove having, for example, a 28 mmϕmin. diameter and a 50 mmϕmax. diameter and a 60 mm height, is used as a suction supporting tube 2, after the slurry is sucked to form a laminated body 3 on the surface of the supporting tube 2, the laminated body 3 is thermally cured to obtain the cartridge filter 1 formed by integrating a deep layer filter medium 5 having a 5 mm filter layer thickness with a supporting body 4.
