PREPARATION OF MICRO-CAPSULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniform micro-capsule particle size distribution by a method in which a hydrophobic liquid is emulsion-dispersed into a hydrophilic liquid by a dispersion machine which applies a shear force to the liquid passing through the slit-shaped notch parts of a fixed stator and a rotary blade, and the dispersed hydrophobic liquid is encapsulated. SOLUTION: A dispersion machine uses three sets of combination in which a fixed stator 1 and a rotary blade 2 are laid to overlap each other. Prescribed amounts of hydrophobic and hydrophilic liquids are supplied continuously from the emulsion inlet of the dispersion machine to the inside of the rotary blade 2 through the central opening 10 of the stator 1 by quantitative pumps. Next, both liquids pass through the slit-shaped notch part of the blade 2 and the slit-shaped notch part of the stator 1 in turn. The hydrophobic liquid is shorn by the shear force by the blade 2 rotating at a high speed into fine particles to make emulsion. The obtained emulsion is heated to make capsules.
