<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferably adjust a bump shape formed on the disk surface, in texture machining on a glass disk using a laser beam, by desirably controlling the beam power from a laser source with a light controlling means. SOLUTION: In the optical path from a laser beam source 1, a light controlling means 5 is provided with translucent plates inside a housing 10 with an incoming and outgoing ports 10a, 10b formed on the front and rear end faces; the translucent plates are arranged in two sets each consisting of two plates 11a, 11b and 11c, 11d in front end rear, with each set made tiltable simultaneously by the same angle in the opposite direction by means of tilting shafts 12a, 12b respectively. The light beam incident from the incoming port 10a is partially reflected while the four translucent plates 11a-11d transmits the beam, and the transmitted one is emitted from the outgoing port 10b. By varying the angle of the translucent plates, the reflectance is controlled to change the transmitted light quantity.</p> |
