PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly wherein an internal catheter and an external catheter can be relatively and easily slid, and a balloon interval can be regulated extending to a length region which is as large as possible. SOLUTION: A guide wire passage for an internal catheter is connected to a region located between two balloons 14, 26 through a port 40 which is provided on the catheter wall, and the guide wire passage is dimensionally determined so that it can be used as an expanding passage even when a guide wire 44 is located when being seen by the cross section, and on the guide wire 44, a closing member 46 is provided at the distal end in order to close a port 42 which is located at the distal end of the guide wire passage 32. |
