PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring live bacteria and protozoans in purified water, capable of selectively measuring live bacteria and protozoans such as cryptosporidium contained in purified water and measuring in extremely short time by a simple operation. SOLUTION: Purified water 29 as a sample is provided so as to come into contact with sensor surface 7 on the sensor surface 7 of light scanning type two-dimensional concentration distribution measuring device having a sensor surface 7 on either one surface of a semiconductor substrate 5 and constituted so as to irradiate probe light 3 to the semiconductor substrate 5, and pH change in this time is monitored. Thereby, whether live bacteria and protozoans (c) are contained in the purified water or not can be judged. |
