With this device it is possible to displace the cervical plane and, upon achieving a certain angle, it is possible jointly to displace said cervical plane together with the back plane. In a first embodiment, provision is made for a bracket on which there are three support points, the first one coinciding with the axis of articulation between the back plane and the cervical plane, the second articulation being connected to the cervical plane, and the third being joined to a transmission arm which receives the movement from a thrust rod actuated by any appropriate means. This transmission arm provides a stop which, upon reaching a certain degree of inclination between the cervical plane and the back plane, stiffens the assembly, both planes rising together and the angle between both being maintained. A second variant provides for the articulation between the bracket and the cervical plane to be able to slide via a trajectory parallel to said plane, whilst the articulation between the bracket and the back plane moves away from the point of articulation between both planes, the rotation of the bracket and its contact with the end of the cervical plane being that which produces the joint rise of both planes. <IMAGE>
