FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a method of producing protein biomass on the basis of a new strain of fungus Pleurotus ostreatus VKPM F-720. Process is carried out under submerged condition at pH 6.0-7.5 and 26-28 C. Process is based on volumetrically/filling up method that involves removal of cultural fluid in every 30 min in the amount 50% of total volume, not above.
