SOLUTION: A telephone directory data storage control means 100a controls storage of telephone directory data consisting of. subscriber number data, name data, character pictorial data and comment data to telephone directory data storage area 20a in response to an operation (request) of a user operation section 30. A telephone directory data display control means 100b controls read of telephone directory data designated by the user through operation of the operation section 30 from the telephone directory data storage area 20a and display of the data onto a display section 40. A data retrieval means 100c retrieves the telephone directory data including data designated through the operation of the operation section 30 by the user from the telephone directory data storage area 20a and displays the data onto the display section 40.
