<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic image developing toner excellent in low temperature fixing property and toner grindability by containing specific petroleum resin. SOLUTION: Resin containing petroleum resin at least at 70 wt.% is used as toner resin. Petroleum resin used for toner resin is not particularly limited, but aliphatic petroleum resin, aromatic petroleum resin, cyclopentadiene group petroleum resin and the like are used. One kind of these petroleum resin can be used, or two or more kinds can be used in combination, and it is necessary that the content of the petroleum resin is 70 wt.% or more to the whole quantity of tone resin. In case of the content being less than 70 wt.% it is difficult to obtain toner excellent in low temperature fixing property and toner grindability. It is desirable to use toner resin containing at least one kind selected from wax, elastomer and the like along with 70 wt.% or more of petroleum resin in order to maintain storage stability of toner.</p> |
