A lollypop type sweet (3) is attached to a spiral rod (1) which passes into a hollow cylindrical casing (7). When the lollypop is pulled vertically guide pins (11) inside the casing cause the lollypop to rotate, as the spiral rod passes them. The lower end of the rod (4) is shaped to prevent it being pulled completely out of the handle.
