PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably remove toner deteriorated in flowability from an image carrier by providing a means for regulating a toner coat layer adjacently to a collecting means. SOLUTION: Side scrapers 15 are provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of a cleaning container 11, the side L1 of a first regulating surface 15a is arranged in a position coming into contact with the surface of a magnet roller 13 and a second regulating surface 15b as an auxiliary regulating surface is constituted in such a manner that it is bent on the basis of the other side L2 as a reference being in parallel with the side L1 on the side of the magnet roller 13 of the first regulating surface 15a, to obtain a chevron cross section. Waste toner which includes paper powder and is deteriorated in the flowability is attracted onto the magnet roller 13 and then, regulated by one side L1 of the first regulating surface of the side scraper 15. The regulated waste toner is heaped up along the first regulating surface 15a by the magnetic force and rotation of the roller 13, abutted on the second regulating surface 15b and then, guided to the sides of a doctor roller 14 and a carrying screw 16, in such a manner that the direction of the regulated waste toner is changed. |
