<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner that generates little greasing even in case of using low temperature fixing type resin by using specific carbon black as a coloring agent. SOLUTION: In electrostatic charge image developing toner formed of at least a coloring agent and binder resin, with a melt index(M.I) being in a range of 5-30 g/10 min., carbon black with a volatile component being 3.0-5.0% and with DBP oil absorption being in a range of 50-72 ml/100 g is used as the coloring agent. As the binder resin, polyester resin with a polycarboxylic acid component and a polyhydric alcohol component as a constituent unit is used, but in this polyester resin, at least part of polyhydric alcohol is composed of oxyalkylene ether of novolak type phenol resin. As a result, low temperature fixing property and dispersibility of carbon black are improved. In addition, the weight average molecular weight of toner is specified into a range of 1.0×10<4> -9.0×10<5> so as to further improve the dispersibility of carbon black.</p> |
