IMPLANT FOR VASCULAR PROSTHESIS ANASTOMOSIS

The implant is used in medicine, in particular in surgery inaorta operations caused by a rupture and dissection of aortalaneurysms. Its design is simplified which ensures its stablefixation in the vascular prosthetis and the aorta in externalligature and is lasting in time. The implant can be mate oftitanium alloy BT 6 GOST 19807-74, its design allowed economicalindividual fabrication. The implant consists of a cylindricaltubular body (1) which has cylindrical inner surface (2) and twoconnecting endpieces (5) machined at both its ends of its innersurface, each of which has a conical guiding surface (9) andretention edge. Axially positioned cylindrical rings (10)separated by an intermediate part (4) are fitted between endpieces(5). The connection endpieces (5) are fitted at some distance fromthe ends of body (1) which distance is determined from the lengthof the respective cylindrical end part (3). The intermediate partforming a cylindrical surface (4) is machined in the body (1)itself and has perforated radial passage apertures (12). Theexternal edges (7) at both ends of body (1) are chamfered at anangle of 45o. Every endpiece (5) has a conical surface (9) with a30o inclination of the generatrix.9 claims, 1 figure
