PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the individual identification system of high safety for not leaking individual identification information. SOLUTION: This individual identification system 200 is provided with a non-contact card 1 and an individual identification device 2 for identifying an individual by using the non-contact card 1. The non-contact card 1 is provided with a storage device 3 for storing compressed data obtained by compressing first identification information for indicating the physical feature of the individual identifiable from others corresponding to a prescribed compression method beforehand and a transmitter 4 for transmitting the compressed data by using radio waves. The individual identification device 2 is provided with a receiver 5 for receiving the radio waves transmitted from the transmitter 4 in a state without contacting the non-contact card 1, a data reader 6 for reading the compressed data from the receiver 5, an information expansion device 9 for generating the first identification information by expanding the compressed data read by the data reader 6 corresponding to a prescribed expansion method, an input device 7 for generating second identification information based on input from an individual and a collation device 8 for collating the first identification information generated by the information expansion device 9 and the second identification information generated by the input device 7. |
