PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deterioration in image quality, even if color images are continuously formed on a large number of sheets by soaring the nonmagnetic toner of a developer from a developing unit to a latent image, so as to make it a toner image and transferring the toner image to a transfer material. SOLUTION: The surface of a photoreceptor 1 is uniformly electrified by a roller electrifier 2 to which a voltage is applied by a power source 50, while the photoreceptor 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow, to form an electrostatic latent image by an exposure means 3. Then, the toner image is formed with development by the developing unit 14. The toner image is destaticized by a discharge lamp 8 and transferred to the transfer material 11. Further, residual toner is removed by a blade cleaner 12 and destaticization by a discharge lamp 9 is attained to return the surface potential of the photoreceptor 1 to an initial stage state. Thus, the surface of the amorphous silicon photoreceptor is electrified by a contact electrifying means, the latent image is formed by a latent image forming means and tuned into the toner image, in such a manner that at least the nonmagnetic toner soars to the latent image from the developing unit and the toner image is transferred to the transfer material. |
