FIELD: mechanical engineering; hand arc welding electrodes. SUBSTANCE: device has main belt conveyor, toothed conveyor arranged between belts of main conveyor, side levellers and cleaning heads. Toothed conveyor is made in form of drum projecting above belt conveyor through value equal to 2.5-5.0 diameters of electrode. If above indicated relationships are met, all tooth spaces of carrying teeth are arranged above level of carrying surface of conveyor belts. Slide made in form of inclined surface concave at side of conveyor is placed above belt conveyor in electrode feed zone. EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning of electrode ends with preservation of their coating, simplified design, reduced labour input and power consumption. 2 cl, 2 dwg |
