PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector for a flexible substrate capable of being thinned. SOLUTION: A contact 2 is provided with an arm-shape part 2A seen at an opening of a housing 1, a turning movement guide part 4 is recessed and protruded at upper and lower edges of the arm-shape part 2A, has concentric upper and lower guide faces 4A and 4B each other, and a pressurization member 6 is formed of a slit-shaped receiving groove 8, in which the turning movement guide part 4 is gradually received, together with the turning movement oriented to the above predetermined position. The turning movement guide part 4 has an opposite protruded, arc-shaped upper inner edge 8A and a straight lower inner edge 8B of a receiving groove 8, respectively in contact with the upper and lower guide faces 4A and 4B, and a pressurization part 7 is positioned close to a line-connecting a contact side end part and a turning movement center of the lower inner edge 8B. |
