PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to select whether or not a background video displaying a singer is displayed according to a taste of the singer, etc., and the feeling at the moment by arranging a display control means for displaying the photographed singer. SOLUTION: A video camera 4 is installed on a wall 2 of a room 1 as a photographing means to photograph a singer 3. On the other hand, a KARAOKE device 10 is provided with a commander 20 for video-controlling storing and reproducing of the singer's video photographed by the video camera, changeover, and synthesis of the video to be displayed on monitors 12, 14. The commander 20 has a CPU, and operates various controls required for performing KARAOKE music and reproducing background video. Moreover, the CPU detects a total quantity of movements in the video data outputted from the video camera 4, judges whether or not the singer exists, and then controls whether or not the video of the singer is displayed on the monitors 12, 14. Namely, this CPU functions as a part of the detection means and the display control means. |
