Fault signal elimination method for light barrier

The fault signal elimination method registers the number of light pulses received by the light barrier photodetector (3) within each of a number of successive time intervals of defined time duration, for comparison with the number of light pulses provided by the pulsed light source (2) via a microcontroller (11), before the light barrier signal is switched between the light path blocked and the light path free indications.
