<p>This invention is a bladder control apparatus retaining device for placement within the urethra of a patient. The device includes a sheath (20) having a distal end, a proximal end, and an internal lumen for receiving a bladder control apparatus. Disposed at opposite ends are first and second retainers (22, 30). The sheath (20), and retainers (22, 30) are preferably a flexible polymer which can be coated or impregnated with an antibiotic.</p> |
