A solid electrolyte fuel cell comprises a separator bonded to one surface of a triple layer film, which consists of a solid electrolyte film between a fuel electrode and an air electrode, by means of a glass adhesive and a ceramic adhesive distributed at different points along the opposite bonding surfaces. Also claimed is a cell stack which comprises two or more of the above solid electrolyte fuel cells and an interposed electrically conductive layer.
