摘要 812,074. Photographic cameras. HANDLER, A., and VOCKENHUBER, K., [trading as EUMIG ELEKTRIZITATS-UND METALLWAREN INDUSTRIE]. March 16, 1956 [March 18, 1955], No. 8263/56. Class 98(1) In a photographic or kinematographic camera, a light intensity indicator which is used to control the camera setting consists of a detachable unit, and all lightweaking members affecting its indication are mounted on the camera. As shown in Fig. 1, the iris diaphragm 1 is controlled by means of a milled knob 2 coupled to the diaphragm by gear wheels 3, 4. Gear wheel 4 meshes with a gear 7 journalled on a common shaft 8 with a cam 9 in a lever 18 pivoted about the shaft of the gear wheel 4. The light intensity indicator consists of a block 14 carrying a light-sensitive cell in front and enclosing a meter with a pointer 28 visible in a window 27. The indicator 14 is detachably located in front of a light tunnel 16, the entrance 17 of which may be more or less closed by a pivoted flap 13. The flap 13 is connected to a crank handle 11 which bears against a sliding member 10 acting as a follower to the cam 9. The amount of light reaching the cell 15 is therefore varied in accordance with the setting of the diaphragm 1, and cam 9 is so constructed that the correct setting of the diaphragm is obtained when the needle 28 of the meter is brought into registration with a fixed mark 29. Differences in the speed of the film passing through the gate of a kinematograph camera may be taken into account by rocking the lever 18 about the shaft of the gear wheel 4. To this end, the lever 18 carries a mark 19 which may be brought into registration with one of a number of marks 20<SP>1</SP>, 20<SP>11</SP>, 20<SP>111</SP>, according to the film frame speed. The emulsion speed of the film may be allowed for by restricting the available area of the cell 15 by means of flexible blinds 26 which are movable by means of a disc 22, which may be set to a desired film emulsion speed by means of a scale 21. The disc carries an eccentric pin 24 entering a slot 25 of a slide connected to the blinds 26. A plane mirror 30 may be placed below the cell at such an angle that the pointer 27 may be viewed by transmissive light through the eye-piece 31 of the view finder, the parts being so positioned that the image of the pointer is formed at the same position as the image of the scene.
