<p>The invention provides a kit for use in a triage situation, the kit comprising: (i) first indicator means for indicating the priority classification of a patient, the first indicator means being attachable to the patient; and (ii) second indicator means for indicating the priority status of the patient; the second indicator means being securable to a blanket or cover for covering a patient. The kit preferably also includes a blanket or cover for the patient. The first indicator means may be a cruciform label, each arm of which bears a different colour and is foldable so as to display only one colour. The second indicator means may be a set of differently-coloured adhesive labels selectable to repeat the classification shown by the first means. The labels of each means may also bear letters, numbers or symbols. The kit may comprise one or more (e.g. up to ten) blankets, each with a set of first and second indicator means, in an outer nylon bag.</p> |
