<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a control unit for an electric motor used in a power steering system from being broken by stones scattered up and from being affected by the heat that the engine and radiator emit, when arranged nearer to the steering gearbox. SOLUTION: A sub frame 3 that connects a right front frame 2 and a left front frame 2 together is fixedly mounted on its cross part 3a with a steering gearbox 6 incorporating a motor M. The gearbox 6 is fixedly mounted on the top with a casing 8 holding therein a control unit U for the motor M. The control unit U is situated between a pair of right and left radiator fans 5a. This arrangement sets the control unit U on the side of the gearbox 6 opposite to an engine 4.</p> |
