PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To work the prescribed place of a work with positional precision in the working part and to rapidly carry the work. SOLUTION: A lead frame 11 carried with an inlet side carrying device A is stopped at just front of an upper die 12a and a lower die 12b with a stopper 42. When the lead frame 11 is stopped with the stopper 42, inlet nip rolls 3a, 3b are closed by the force of a spring with a controller 40 to hold the lead frame 11, and the lead frame 11 is sent by a given quantity between the upper die 12a and the lower die 12b. Thereafter, inlet nip rolls 3a, 3b are opened by the force of an air cylinder, and depress working is applied to the lead frame 11 between the upper die 12a and the lower die 12b. The worked lead frame 11 is held with outlet nip rolls 7a, 7b and sent to the side of an outlet side carrying device B. |
