PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a hollow molded product of a good appearance by a method wherein molten synthetic resin and pressure fluid are fed between a pair of female and male molds, and a slide block is retreated to increase an interval between the both female and male molds. SOLUTION: Molten synthetic resin 5 is fed between a pair of female and male molds under a state wherein a slide block 3 is in an advance position toward a cavity. Then, the female mold 1 and/or the male mold 2 are transferred in a direction of closing, and the closing is executed with preliminarily set applied pressure in order to obtain a specific cavity clearance. Then, the molten synthetic resin 5 is spreaded in the cavity by pressurizing to fill a space between the molds. As pressurizing fluid, compression air or the like is injected herein. Further, the slide block 3 is retreated to widen the space between the both female and male molds 1, 2 to a required thickness of a molded product, and hollowness is formed in the whole of the molded product. Thereby, pressure to be applied to the molded product is uniformized, and the molded product of an excellent appearance can be manufactured. |
