PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably, efficiently and continuously manufacture a foam material having uniform surface state without unevenness by installing a plate-like material parallel to liquid surface under the surface of a foaming tank. SOLUTION: A foaming preventive plate 5 is provided as a plate-like structure installed horizontally in a liquid bath of a foaming tank. As material of the plate 5, metal is used by considering heat resistance, thermal conductivity, durability, workability and the like. And, the plate 5 is mounted directly at an inner wall of the tank or fixed by using a vertical plate 7. Further, since irregular foaming becomes a problem mainly in a foaming tank introducing part, the plate 5 affects sufficient effects even by providing the plate 5 only at the introducing part. In this case, even though a length of the plate 1 in a machine direction is short, its length needs to a foaming starting point of a sheet and a length corresponding to a foaming finishing point. Thus, contact of foamable resin sheet with liquid bath at an inlet of the foaming region is made uniform. Then, a contact surface side of the foam with the bath has no unevenness, and uniform surface state can be realized. |
