PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injection system that is able to reduce an amount of watt consumption, and also high in reliability. SOLUTION: In an accumulator fuel injection system 3, high pressure fuel to be supplied out of a fuel feed pump 9 is forcibly fed to an accumulator 11 by way of a high pressure passage 17 for pressure accumulation. In this high pressure passage 17, a solenoid control valve 25 is opened or closed in response to a control signal of a controller 39, whereby a fuel supply quantity to be forcibly fed to the accumulator 11 is controlled. Thus, since a fuel quantity to be forcibly fed to the accumulator 11 is controlled by opening or closing the solenoid control valve 25, the degree of freedom in operating conditions is high enough and operation is made possible to be done under the most efficient condition in this fuel feed pump, so that watt consumption is thus reducible, and also reliability is improvable. |
