摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable execution of an accurate guidance control by determining a wind direction and wind velocity on an air lane on the basis of a ground speed by radar tracking information and an airspeed from an aircraft and by calculating automatically the optimum direction of advance and speed toward a destination. CONSTITUTION:A wind direction and wind velocity 11 on an air lane are computed from an airspeed VA9 in the direction of advance of an aircraft itself and a ground speed VG10 determined from the speed and the direction of advance of the aircraft which are obtained by radar tracking. Next, a ground speed VGM15 required for arrival till a specified time is determined on the basis of a distance in a straight line from the current position 12 of the aircraft to an aimed point 13, a vector computation on the basis of the wind direction and wind velocity 11 is executed, so as to determine a speed to be specified for the aircraft and an airspeed VAM14 in the direction of advance, and instructions thereon are given to the aircraft. Subsequently, an average value VGAV for a prescribed time of the speed VGM15 is computed, and when the absolute value of a difference between the average value and the speed VGM15 does not exceed a set value, checkup of the arrival at the aimed point is executed. When it exceeds the set value, the checkup of the arrival at the aimed point is executed on the basis of a wind direction and wind velocity 11 determined afresh from the airspeed VAM and the average value VGAV, while the speed VAM to be specified for the aircraft is updated automatically.</p>
