PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of protecting the head of an occupant when predetermined heavy load is applied to the side of a body by increasing the resistance to the movement of the head of the occupant to the cabin outward direction. SOLUTION: A main cylindrical inflation part 70 curved downward is provided at the lower edge of a bag 22 which is inflated in a curtain shape when predetermined heavy load is applied to the side of a body and the first subsidiary cylindrical inflation part 72 to the fourth subsidiary cylindrical inflation part 78 are provided upward thereof. When gas is supplied from an inflation 20, a substantially tension line is formed at the position of T, lower than an original tension line T'. Then, resistance to the movement of the head of an occupant to the cabin outward direction is increased to improve the performance of protecting the head of the occupant. |
