A fast drying finishing glaze used for faux finishing comprises a composition containing a mixture of: an ingredient containing Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether, Acrylic Polymers, non-essential ingredients, and water; an ingredient which is a composition which contains Water, Organic Resin, Additives, and a Filler; and water. The finishing glaze may be clear or colored. The finishing glaze may be used on numerous types of surfaces which include wooden, metallic, plastic, plaster, stone, ceramic, glass, drywall, and vinyl surfaces. The surfaces may be porous or smooth. Once applied, the coating will dry within minutes of the application thus allowing for multiple coatings to be added within a relatively short period of time.
