The electrodes of an ultrasonic transducer are in the form of flexible circuit boards which have pre-applied connection leads and which are adhesively bonded to a piezoelectric ceramic disk. An ultrasonic transducer, for a liquid flowmeter with a measuring tube between two ultrasonic transducers, has a piezoelectric ceramic disk provided on both sides with electrodes in the form of flexible circuit boards which have pre-applied leads and which are adhesively bonded to the ceramic disk. Preferred Features: Adhesive bonding is carried out using a conductive adhesive, preferably an anisotropic adhesive or an adhesive with dielectric constant matching provided by incorporated ceramic powder.
