<p>Neuropsychiatric disorders can be treated by administering a nicotine antagonist, particularly mecamylamine. Combination therapy of mecamylamine with a neuroleptic drug also is disclosed. The neuropsychiatric disorders include Tourette's syndrome, tremors, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, depression, hemidystonia, tardive dyskinesia, Parkinson's Disease and Huntington's Disease (HD).</p> |
